Bethpage OBGYN
Hello,
I recently found out I was pregnant and went to Dr. Tuchman at Bethpage OBGYN. I can't find any info about her online. I'm only about 4 weeks. I am not sure I want to stay w/her as I think I want a midwife down the road. Just doing all the bloodwork/sono's with her right now.
Can anyone recommend her or Dr. Storch at her office?
If not, any others in the area (female) you recommend? Or a great midwife?

I am done having kids lol but I do go to Dr. Storch. She is very nice. I only wish I knew her when I was having children. My kids are 6 and 10.

I go there, just had DS, i go to dr thanus, he was excellent, I had another dr for my 1st child which was a bad experience. The treatment I received was beyond my expectations. I wish I planned on having more kids, he was fantastic. Dr storch is wonderful too, I just prefer dr thanus's bedside manner more. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

Love both Dr Thanus and Dr Storch!!
I had to switch OB's for this pregnancy due to insurance changes and I am still so sad that one of them won't be delivering me this time.

I never heard of dr tuchman....I see dr storch. I also have spoken w dr thanus a few times and he is good too.

I go to Stony Brook Midwives, at their Islip office. I like them a lot so far. I highly recommend midwives in general; I've used OBs in the past and I just think the care is superior with a MW.
If that's too far for you, try Melanie Sumersille in Garden City. She delivers at Winthrop.
The Gaia Midwives deliver at NUMC in East Meadow and have three offices (Malverne, Huntington, and Islip).
