diy hair color after salon color?
I'd like to try to color my hair myself using Clairol Natural Instincts, the kind that washes out after 28 days. I bought one that matches my natural color (I just want to color a couple of grays). I've been getting my hair done for almost 2 years & want to try to save some $. Has anyone ever done this, & how did it come out? Will the diy product interact with the salon product? I'm afraid I'll end up with damaged hair. Thanks!!!

I have found that as long as you are either just covering greys or going darker, at-home coloring is fine. I would never ever go lighter at home though. Way too high of a chance that I'll end up with orange hair
