Is there a flu going around?
Or sickness? My 3 year old has been complaining all day of a belly ache. Never really had explosive poop. Just a little solid poop. We went to park in our complex and he didnt want to play, he felt VERY warm. I know its hot out but when we got home I took his temp. 102.1. Hes in the bath now, and I will recheck temp after. Anything going around?

We had a stomach bug. Throwing and going, bad cramps, and low grade fevers. It lasted a day.

A friend of mine posted on FB about her 18 month old having a "summer virus" as the ped called it. Fever last about 3 days

It could be the heat. Makes them feel sick to their stomach. Lots of fluids and cool air.

Ds just got over this virus.. Three days of fever. Nothing else.

Thanks ladies! Also, when is a fever "too" high for a 3 year old?
and any suggestions to prevent my 6 month old from getting sick?

There is a virus going around. DS #1 has a temp of anywhere between 102.7-103.4. He doesn't have a belly ache but he had the sudden onset of fever and just looks very tired. Ped said that it's going around when we took him today. He told us keep him hydrated, rest and ibuprophen for the fever.

I was just at the ped today. DS had a 102.3 fever 2 days ago and today he has a rash but no fever. Ped said coxsackie is going around.
ETA: DS is only 14m so he cant tell me what he is feeling but he did throw up Monday night and has barely eaten since tuesday.

Is there a flu going around?
Ds1 had a sudden onset of fever but lost his voice and complained that it hurt to swallow. This lasted 3 days. DS2 woke up from his afternoon nap with a fever earlier this evening and vomited. He actually just woke up after throwing up a little just not long ago. His temp is around 102 now.

Coxsackie and Fifths disease are going around
My DD just had Coxsackie 3 weeks ago...started with 102 fever, stomach ache, one time of vomit, then progressed to mouth sores, foot sores, etc after a few days.

Our entire family had a virus. Caused aches and pains for me. No fevers... But big time runny nose and cough that lasted a week!

It does, my DD just had it a couple of weeks ago. It's the only virus that you get a rash 1-2 days after the fever breaks.

Awww, sorry. I hope he/she feels better soon!
My ds did end up vomiting 2x. But he has had a LOT of diharrea. Thank goodness hes potty trained!
