Convertible carseat
We have a Graco MyRide 65 and love it. Really good fit (I drive a Honda Civic and my 2.5yo is rear facing in it), highly rated for safety, and relatively inexpensive.

Convertible carseat
Evenflo symphony !!! Rear facing up to 45 pounds, forward facing with harnesses to 65 pounds, can be used as a booster up to 100 pounds. Adjustable head rest so no worries about growing out height wise. Easy to install, easy to adjust straps and doesnt expire for 8 years.

Graco MyRide 65! Two separate latch belts for rear and forward facing, nice size for taller kids, reasonably priced. . . . and when DS (still rear facing) falls asleep he doesn't slump over in it.

We have 2 Graco MyRide 65 seats. I agree with the PP on the fact that they don't slump over when asleep. It is a very user friendly seat and I think we'll get a lot of use out of it. DS just turned 1 so only time will tell.
