Can you recommend your convertible carseat for a second seat?

I have the Boulevard, and both my mom & MIL want to get a simple yet safe car seat for DS now that he is out of the infant seat. I do not want them to have to spend another $300 each.

Can you recommend a convertible seat that is good for 20lbs+?

I have the Alpha Omega 3 in 1similar to this one, just different colrs. I love it. DH's car has the Alpha 3 phase. This was initially in my car, but I did not like it as much. I was more difficult to adjust and just felt awkward to me.

We have the Decathlon. I got in on sale for $225.

What about the Evenflo Triumph? It has great reviews. We originallly were going to buy that one but EJ is on the bigger size so he will outgrew it too quickly. That's why we decided on the Britax.

We have the triumph advance dlx, I haven't heard about a recall on it. It does test as one of the best in crash tests.

I have the Evenflo Triumph (don't know which one though, 5 I think) and it's great! I also have a Triumph (different version) for my mom's car.

Ah thank you. I lost track of my baby bargains book during the move and to be honest I am not sweating it as much as I did with my seat, but I did not want to get a recalled one either.

I think I am going to go with the the Triumph. Mom was also looking at a graco, but the min weight was 30 lbs I think, and an Alpha Omega.

We have a graco one (although I can't remember the model now) - and it's fine as a second seat. DD seems fine in it. and I think it was about $100. Just wanted to give another opinion..

We just had our car seat installed Friday and I asked what was a good second seat or one for grandparents. He told me the ComfortSport was a great second car seat and was also great for airplane travel.

We have a Comfortsport and it is a great carseat!! And I think we are going to bring it with us when we go to both Florida and Europe when we travel this year b/c it is slightly smaller than our other seat.
