NYC- Schools
Do all of the schools listed on the DOE-NYC site follow the same NYC salary scale (even the ones that aren't a P.S. I.S. as their name----I see that some are "academies" etc.)

I am at an "academy" and yes, it's regular DOE everything.
I don't know the logic behind the use of the "academy" term but as elite as it sounds, most of those schools are anything but.

My first school was even better- "Diana Sands Preparatory Academy." I used to joke that it should have been the "Dennis Rodman Preparatory Academy."
