How do you clean your make up brushes?
Do I have to buy stuff made specifically for that? Or can I use a mild soap or shampoo?

Re: How do you clean your make up brushes?
I use liquid dish soap (dawn) and let them air dry. After rinsing, I reshape them so when they dry they are in their correct shape. I use a toothbrush holder to keep them upright. HTH

you may use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo bc it doesnt have any harsh dyes or chemicals always dry your brushes flat and do not lay them in the upright position to dry!!

I use the stuff from Mac. It works well, I like that it's supposedly antiseptic.

Re: How do you clean your make up brushes?
I am a make up artist and that is what we always use...dont ever stand your brushes upright to dry bc the water will seep to the base of the brush and loosen the hairs.

Re: How do you clean your make up brushes?
How do *I* clean them? By throwing them in the garbage & buying new ones
However for those less lazy than i am - i did buy this brush cleaner from Sephora. http://www.sephora.com/purifying-brush-shampoo-P208012?skuId=1069954

Re: How do you clean your make up brushes?
I use the quick clean spray from Sephora, mostly on eye shadow brushes to change colrs, and then when they are very dirty, I actually use Dr. Beonner's Bar soap.
I had prucahsed a travel version of the Beauty Blender sponge with travel cleaner, whicg was really bar soap in a plastic container, so when that ran out, I put my bar soap ( the unscented one for babies) in a travel soap container.
I just wet the brush & run it across the soap & rinse. Works for sponges too.

I use J&J baby shampoo and then lay them out on a towel to air dry.
