Lactation consultant recs
Hi- if you BF your twins and met with a LC can you recommend them?
I BF DS, but I think I'm going to meet with a LC this time to help with positioning and latching, since my insurance covers it.
Thanks!

Re: Lactation consultant recs
I EBF'd my DS until 15 months. Then I had the twins. I used the LC a couple of times in the hospital. Once I got discharged I just sort of winged it on my own. I think because of the experience with DS I was able to figure it out myself.

The hospital gave me a list of consultants in the area.. I wound up meeting with a woman named Beverly Rae in Manhasset. and renting the pump from her. I didn't take any classes but the woman that was there was raving about her.

Re: Lactation consultant recs
I ended up keeping in touch with the LC's from the nicu. They are GREAT! they were wonderful about emailing me asap. Also, I know they have a support group that meets up that is run by an LC. I ended up going to the support group at south side. it met every week.(was going to deliver there till baby A decided it was time to arrive at 30 w.) I would just bring one of my girls at a time. who ever would benefit from the help the most.
