Time needed at Dutch wonderland/hershey park
I was thinking of planning a trip to Dutch Wonderland and Hershey Park. I was wondering how many days do i need at each park? DD is 3 years old. TIA

We do a day at each and the free preview nights for both. Hershey is pretty large though, and depending on when you go, you might not get to everything. We went during the week recently and it was HOT out and CROWDED, so we didn't get to much.

Re: Time needed at Dutch wonderland/hershey park
We did this exact trip last month. We left our house early in the morning and got to DW about 40 minutes after it opened and stayed there until 5 pm. Then we checked into Eden, and went back near DW to the Choo Choo Barn restaurant for dinner. If it is too far for you to leave early in the morning I would do the free preview night and then DW all day the next day.
On day two, we went spent the morning in the Eden Hotel pool and spray area (wonderful), then we went to the PA Rail Road Museum (fantastic). After that we had lunch and went to the outlet mall opposite from DW. They have a ton of stores. From there we drove to Hershey.
We spent the next day from 8 am - 8 pm at Hershey Park. It was a lot of fun. The last day of our trip it was 115 degrees so we only spent a little bit of time at the park and we left. It was obscenely hot. Had the weather been better we had planned on going to the zoo. Unfortunately, there had been a huge storm on Thursday night so a lot of the rides were still shut down on Friday. They had done an excellent job of cleaning the park though.
When we went neither park felt overly crowded. We all loved the vacation.

I would do DW for one day and Hershey for 2 days, so you can take your time.

Yes you can do the preview hours for both, as they are 2 separate tickets. They will stamp each one for the preview. Make sure you ask for the bottom of your ticket back after you use it for the full day at both parks. They take it, and if you leave and your stamp washes off, or it rains, etc. you have no proof of your ticket. Or print out 2 copies of each and keep one in your wallet. P.S. If you do ask for a tear off of the bottom, be prepared to have to argue for it. I had to at Hershey, and most recently at Lake Compounce (had a ticket issue there with them not being emailed, otherwise I would have just printed 2 copies)
