Re: does anything need to be labeled
Haha. Nope everything gets shared. When I feed them alone, one bowl, one spoon for both. Now they grab eachother's pacifiers anyway (along with anything else they can stick in their mouth).
For the nasal aspirator I would just clean it before using on the second one.

Re: does anything need to be labeled
Everything gets shared in my house too lol. I remember before I had them I saw a post saying not to let the kids share because what if one is sick. If one is sick the other one will get sick even if they dont share stuff. Obviously if one is really sick then I will not sure things.
If I am feeding them alone it is much easier to have one bowl and spoon. They are always putting toys in their mouth then putting it down and the other grabs it (or steals it)
I only mark the stuff for Daycare. But I told them they can share everything.

We didn't label anything. The girls did have different colored binkys (pink and purple). But we dropped the binky habit by 4 months.

Re: does anything need to be labeled
the only thing i labeled is the saline bottle and the nasal aspirator
otherwise they share everything. i use green collars for Gavin's bottles and white for huner- but that is to keep track of how many ounces each drank - but they will drink the other's sometimes
in feeding them - the one bowl- one spoon is the easiest way to feed

Re: does anything need to be labeled
I labeled the saline, nasal aspirators and thermometers. Admittedly I may have grabbed the others saline out of quick need and it was right there, but for the most part these are kind of personal grooming items kind of gave me the creeps to share outright especially the thermometer. I have boy/girl twins. They have their own hair brushes as well.
Same bowl same spoon. I learned that one fast! Also as pp said, different color bottles to see how much each was drinking. And, yep, they also play the swap the pacifier game!

i have separate aspirators...and the hospital labeled them A and B - which is silly for me to keep them separate since i use the same saline...i keep the pacis separate for now...i also have separate bottles...but in a pinch i have taklen the botle out of one mouth nad given to the other! am i bad? lol

Re: does anything need to be labeled
nothing we have is labelled but we do try to keep bottles differentiated if only for the fact that two parents can easily ID who ate a certain amount. Beyond that, everything is interchangeable aside from dresses (and even then i may consider it in a pinch). Certain babies may show a preference for one paci or bottle but odds are you will know this without a label or indicator.

Labeling things is for your convenience and how you feel about sharing and personal property. I let my kids share everything, except for the rectal thermometer. Obviously that is for my use. They have their own pacifiers and water bottles and they swap ALL of the time. The difference is they know what is their own and if they choose to share, they do. I want them to have their own possessions, not everything is community property.

Re: does anything need to be labeled
Not sure of the sexes of your babies but we labeled stuff or used colors. My one daughter was and still is purple and my other daughter was and still is pink. Saline drops/spray def label also themometers.
