Tree Falling
A Big part of my backyard's neighbor's tree fell over into my yard. Its laying over the roof of my shed, then falls into the lawn to the ground. No damage to the fence or shed, so neither homeowner said they would pay.
Trunk of tree is clearly on neighbors lawn.
My question is, does anyone know who is legally responsible for taking it down? Its too big for us to do on our own. I called the town, they said they couldn't help, it was a legal thing, but couldn't point me in the right direction. I think its my neighbors responsibility, but I don't have anything to back me up.
TIA!

Re: Tree Falling
I think its your responsibility to remove the tree since its in your property... this is what a tree guy told me when we recently had to get a tree removed. I would call up a tree removal place to ask just in case.

Re: Tree Falling
I'd say they are responsible.
