Which did you find most useful/why?

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
With twins, we had both. Both were used equally. I would roate the kids. I couldn't imagine only having 1 for the 2 of them.
Of the 2, I liked the Exersaucer better, but the kids loved both.

Thanks. Im also having twins. I will have two.. but wasn't sure if I should get 2 exersaucers or 2 jumperoos... or 1 of each. I dont have the space for 2 of each.

If you are getting two - I would get one of each and rotate them.
We have a jumperoo DS 1 was a crazy jumper from around 4 months. DS 2 is almost 5 months and he prefers the toys over the jumping so an exersaucer would probably be more up his alley.

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
we have 2 exersaucers that were passed down to us for the twins. We returned all of those items from our registry. Their physical therapist only just started letting us use them last month at 10 months. we are not aloud to use jumperoos or walkers

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
some exersacuers acutally allow a kid to bounce in it (the one i got doesnt) and while its probably not the exact same thing as a jumperoo i would just get the exesaucer that allows the kid to bounce in it and save the space
ETA: and money

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
I think an exersaucer is better. We hardly used the jumeroo bc ds wasnt tall enough until 8 months. The exersaucer was a lot more entertaining.

My original answer was going to be no but now that I see you are having twins I say get both. I have both. My DS does not like the jumperoo for some reason but he loves to jump in the exersaucer . They are both major sources of entertainment, which you are definitely going to need.

Same here! I would rotate the twins between the two and they both loved them both equally the same. If your having twins, I would definitely suggest one exersaucer and one jumparoo

My dd didnt care for either. I would just get one of each and see what they prefer.

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
we had both for DS but we kept 1 at home and 1 at my sisters cause she watches him. if i stayed home with him id probably just do one or the other...probably the exersaucer.

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
for twins, i would definitely say yes, if you get one of each i'm sure you'll be very happy you did. DS prefers the jumparoo b/c he's a crazy jumping bean, but he loves the excersaucer too. it'll be a nice change-up for your babies to have 2 different types of entertainment.

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
We have both but the jumperoo has gotten much more use. If I had a choice I wouldn't get both. If I had twins though both would be helpful I would rotate them as others have said

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
We originally only bought an exersaucer, but then when we saw how much DS loved the jumperoo at daycare, we bought that too. I'd have both on hand especially with twins.

We had the evenflo megasaucer and the Fisher Price Rainforest jumperoo. He loved the jumperoo from 6 months until about 10 months. The exersaucer he never got in to, we ended up leaving it at my inlaws so they could use it when they were babysitting for him.

Re: Is an exersaucer AND a jumperoo necessary?
I have an exersaucer, that allows jumping- but I also have the jumper that can hang from a door jam, so I just put it up and take down when I put DS in it.
I had them both with my daughter, and she never took to either... DS on the only hand loves them both. I think they are different experiences for him, but I would never have both the exersaucer and the free standing jumper.

same here. We have both and a walker. I liked giving him a change of scenery. He was a MANIAC jumping in the jumperoo smiling ear to ear! It's also nice having the excersaucer when I wanted him off his head & just to play quiet without jumping (like after a bottle or something).
Didn't use the walker until later, but he loves that too.. chases the dog.
