where do I discard Sharps containers

I have 3 sharps containers that are completely full and since I am not with my RE anymore I cant bring it to them.
What am I supposed to do with these?

You can take them to your local hospital and by law they must take them. The hospital should have an enviormental office that deals with them. My husband tried to drop them off at Stony Brook a few months back but he went to the wrong location so they wouldn't take them. I dropped mine off at Brookhaven the other day but it took awhile to get someone who knew where I should go. Turns out it was the security guard who knew where I should go. In my experience, don't give up if the person at the front desk tells you they can't help you. It's just out of their norm.

I put them with the recycling. You have to call your town to find out about discarding it yourself. Or like Sharon said bring them to a local hospital.

I would drop them off at your RE's anyway. They know you were a patient there. If that's what's most convenient, I'd just do that.

are you seeing an OB? I always brought mine to my OBs and they disposed. Do not recycle them!!!

i would def take them back to the ob or the hospital

i go through so much even now i use tide containers and then put them out in the garbage

You can take them to:
your OB
Your local hospital
Many nursing homes have 1 day a month that they take them (call around)
out with the garbage - as long as it is marked it is OK
