School Districts
DS will be in school in two years and I'm trying to see what elementary school he would go to. Is there a way to find that out online? TIA!

not that I know of, but when we were looking at houses I was curious about a few and called the district. I told them we were looking at a house and I was curious about what elementary school, told them the address and they looked it up for me.

Re: School Districts
Im a little confused by the question, but if you go on redfin.com like youre looking for a home and put in your town, zoom in where you live or will live and see which elementary school is the closest in the district you live in. That would most likely be the one. Then you can call and find out. District lines sometimes change between elementary schools.

There are a few schools that are close by, so I can't tell where he would go... We're probably going to send him to Catholic school, but just wanted to get an idea of where he might go. I'm going to call and find out - thanks!

Re: School Districts
If there are a few that are close to the house you're looking at, there's no positive way to know until the year DC goes to school. Depending on the child population, they can change the boundaries of which houses go to which school, from year to year. 3rd party websites can make educated guesses, but they can never be 100% certain.

Re: School Districts
Just call your school district's central registration and give them the address. It's highly unlikely it will change, unless they change the model of their school, but at least you have an idea.

this is true. My work district changes the border by a few blocks sometimes to keep enrollment even.
Huntington is not by the closest school.
can you ask a neighbor?

Definitely call the district. It seems like more and more districts are moving to the Princeton Plan, so a map isn't going to be helpful at all.
