Molly update
So we just got back from vacation tonight - Molly stayed with family while we were away. Her swelling did not go down and tonight she started humping my DH. She has not stopped for about 45 mins now. She is def. in heat. We moved the vet. appt up to tomorrow morning but I know they are going to tell me that she is going to need another surgery.
Does anyone know anything about dogs in heat? This def. sounds like what is going on right now right?
The last thing that I want to do is open her up again and deal with another surgery but I can't see her like this and I know I have to do it to get all of the remains out. I am so sad.

What wa sthe result of the last appointment? Did she indeed have a UTI or they thought it was just " in heat" again?
Im so sorry your going through this. I know it must be so scary, but trust in the new vet and know they will take good care of her no matter what!

We were hoping for the UTI - and she was on antibiotics so the swelling would have gone down if that were the case.
The swelling is still here and now she is a humping maniac. I just want this to be taken care of asap but I am scared for her.
PS - LOVE your new pup!!!!!
