Is it true that we can't go over the limit on the crazy sales at Staples?
They have 10 cent composition notebooks but now I'm reading that we can't go over the limit and purchase 25. Oh well, I guess it was fun while it lasted.

I used to "cry the blues" to the salesperson and say I work in a district where many of the students come to school without supplies and I provide them.

I spoke to the manager at the Freeport Staples and he said that they will "help teacher out" by letting them get 10, but no more than that.

Sometimes they let you. However....When I bought the 1 cent folders they told me that I could get 25 but 10 would be at the 1 cent price and the other 15 would be regular price but after all the cent sales were over they would credit my staples reward card the difference. I was so annoyed -needless to say I didn't do the usual go to like 3 staples to get what I needed and honestly because of their new policy... I'll be giving my money to target and Walmart. I know people probably took advantage of these sales but this is now crazy.

they let me go over the limit but i had to pay the regular price and then i got the money back in staples rewards. i did it last month and just printed out my $40 in rewards that i am going to use to get more stuff. Not as good, but better than nothing!

I just got notebooks for 50 cents a piece at Target. Not nearly as good as the staples sale used to be, but there was no minimum purchase. Crayola markers and color pencils are 99 cents; crayons are 50 cents.
ETA: and no limit on the notebooks.
