What indoor toys do/did your 16 month olds play with?
Also, do you leave many toys out for them to pick up as they want? Or do you put them away and only give a couple of toys.
This seems to be an awkward age for play. My twins are at an age where they are in between toys too young for them and toys too old for them.
They are starting to use imagination and manual dexterity is good where soon they will be building towers.
When I am doing chores around the house I leave most toys out. Maybe I leave too much out but with twins I have to have enough for both where they won't fight over 2 toys.
We have ring stacks, nesting toys, cars. My daughter has a couple of dolls and a pocketbook. I bought them a kitchen. They have push toys and some electronic toys I put away and take out so there is still some novelty to them.
I feel like they wander around from one thing to the next. I feel like they are bored. Is it the age? I don't understand - perhaps at this age their attention span is still short?
Any suggestions or advice?
Thanks in advance !

We have a pirate ship/riding toy that he got a lot of use out of when he was that age & still does. IMO: keeping some toys separate is a good idea.
