rough few days

so yesterday had an acquaintance ask me when i was having kids since ive been married. i had to sit there and explain that we wanted to wait.
he had no idea, and meant no malice but it was hard for me to answer, i was caught off guard.

today i was watching teen mom (yep im a dork) and couldnt help but bawl. i want to be a mom, i want kids, and im scared. everyone says MC is common and that it will happen, but no one knows. I never would have thought this would be the start of my journey so how do i know what the next step will be?? im scared. what if it doesnt happen?

im weepy and moody and then i get more upset because that usually happens around my time of the month and clearly thats not the case

i need cake a booze but really i just need a baby

Re: rough few days

I can totally relate. I have been married five years and we are trying for our first. Literally everyone I know has been asking us when we are having kids because we've been married for so long now. That question hurt much less before the miscarriage. Now I get so angry when people ask me that and I just feel like blurting that I had a miscarriage so they'll leave me alone. A lot of our friends and family know now, so I've been getting asked less, but it still is painful when I hear that question and typically I lie and say we aren't ready yet or some other typical answer. I want more than anything to be a mother and I'm terrified too. We've been trying for 10 months since the mc and I am so worried that it's never going to happen. I just tell myself that each day is fresh and that eventually we will have that baby one way or another. Your feelings are totally normal. Hang in there!
