Can you help me pick a time for a Halloween party?

I am going to invite both DS#1 and DS#2's new preschool classes over for a Halloween party at our house. With the exception of a few parents who use extended care until the very end, most of the kids from DS's preschool get picked up at 3:00.
I think the best time would be Saturday, October 27 at 10:30 but I'm afraid other people will have plans that day. I know every mom's group that I'm in is planning a party for the last weekend of October. Was thinking maybe the weekend prior would be better.

Which do you think is the best time for toddlers and preschoolers?

A. Saturday, October 20 at 10:30
B. Saturday, October 20 at 4:00
C. Friday, October 26 at 4:00
D. Saturday, October 27 at 10:30
E. Saturday, October 27 at 4:00
F. Sunday, October 28 at 4:00
G. Tuesday, October 30 at 4:00

For that age parties don't last more then 2-3 hours. I would say 10:30 am but you have to specify on invitation what you are planning. Where you doing lunch? Is it just a snack party? 10:30 is kind of a weird time where people may be unsure. My twins first Birthday is 10/28 & was thinking the same thing...alot of halloween parties. I am having the kids party on 10/6 because worried about weather. I will have the family on 10/28 then I don't have to worry about halloween parties or being outside. It should still be nice then. Good Luck. I would try & do party around 11am- on maybe fridy & then you don't kill whole weekend.

I vote for sat oct 20th at 1030

Is there a particular reason why the pm time is 4? That is a little late IMO to start a party for toddlers (but my kids may be the minority bc they go to bed around 630). If you could do it at 3 I think that would be better and my first choice. Then I could put my toddler down for a nap and come after.

I think about 75% of the parties we get invited to are at 10:30am on a Saturday. That is a very popular time slot for 2-4 year olds.

I would definitely serve lunch.

We get invited to kiddies parties mostly around 10:30 and then 3:30-4. I think that time slot is due to naps? I don't particularly like that time slot personally but it seems to be the second most popular time slot.

My 3yo no longer naps so it is hit or miss at 4pm. Some days he is awesome. Other days he is a tired whiny mess.
