Dr. Trivax @ RS of NY in Mineola. They have several other locations as well. I use to see Dr Scholl @ North Shore but had to switch (FM me if you want details).

I also used RSNY in Mineola. I was started to get annoyed with the practice, actually but then I got my BFP so I can't really complain!

def check out a bunch of RE's...alot of women will recommend an RE if they got a positive result from them...it should be based on how comfortable you are there, the location, hours and SART ratings...think of it like an interview process...I saw 3 RE's for consults...good luck!!!

If you dont have Out Of Network to see Dr. B.....I hear great things about North Shore and also there is another doctor that has branched out on his own that some of the girls have been raving about but I cant remember his name. Let me see if I can find it.

This is who I was talking about. I've heard great things about Dr. Zapantisclick me

and here is the LIF link where the girls were recommending him: Click me

Re: recommend your RE

I used RSofNY..but Dr. Lydic and Bronson in the SB medical park.. I work at SB as well, and their scheduling was very convienent for me. My close friend is now going to them, and she needed a much more extensive work up that I did, and she has been very happy.

I had my first child 5 years ago and am now pregnant with twins..they are wonderful doctors to work with.

I just started seeing Dr. Palter at Gold Coast IVF in Syosset. So far, so good. He was very thorough on his initial history and examination and spent about 45 minutes just talking to me and answering all my questions. Good Luck!

I second Dr Lydic @ RSofNY ;) !!!!!!! I have a h/o PTSD, and have a very hard time with gyn exams to begin with. After a year of TTC with no luck I PANICKED! I knew what kind of testing seeing a specialist would involve. I took the advice of a dear friend who would never steer me wrong, and I started seeing Dr Lydic. From the first time I met him and explained my background, he made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I am not the easiest patient, however, he has performed exams, a hystero, and an endometrial biopsy and has made it relatively painless and easy peasy!!! He is compassionate, PATIENT, GENTLE...I can't say enough about him! Every time I have an appointment, I have always seen him, unlike some offices where you see many doctors. The office is clean, and the staff there are wonderful as well. Hopefully, if all goes well with biopsy results we can start the treatment process, fingers crossed!!

The only reason I share my history is in case there is someone else out there with similar issues. When I was researching, I found it hard to relate to some reviews, because I never found someone in a similar situation sharing their story.

Good Luck to us ALL!!!

Re: recommend your RE

I second Dr. Palter, Gold Cost IVF in Syosset. He takes a lot of time with you to figure out reason for your infertility issues and decides on treatment based on your situation. His staff is very attentive too and the best part is you see him on most appointments. I was a patient of RS of NY for over 2 years. Dr. Sung was my primary doctor but I found that I rarely got to see her. Though the staff there was wonderful their approach was a little assembly line and I'm not sure you get the best course of action for your infertility issue. Good luck with whatever doctor you go forward with.

Re: recommend your RE

Everyone is going to recommend the RE who worked for them. My best advice is to look up SART data (all reputable REs have it) and shop around before sticking with one person. Start out with a few consults - don't just make one. Good luck!
