i hadn't seen any of your previous posts - i really love the names isabella and olivia. i wouldn't say i absolutely love elizabeth and rebecca, but they are nice names. i think my problem with them are the nicknames. we always took the nicknames into consideration b/c i knew no matter how much i insisted, that people were going to call him/her by it. but if you like the nicknames then it's a non-issue.
and i'm sorry girls but honestly, i don't understand why everyone is getting so annoyed here. maybe if i'd read all the other threads i'd be annoyed...but then i wouldn't keep reading them or responding!! the poster's screen name and the title "name comparison" came up on the board...if you're annoyed that she keeps asking, don't open. JMO, and please don't hate on me for saying so.
I am not annoyed per se, I just think it's bizarre because she keeps asking for advice on the exact same four names. Why does she keep asking if it doesn't seem to be helping, and why does she care so much what the same group of Internet strangers think? It's just strange.

Please there are people who argue with spouses for months over this ... DH and I have only broached it for a month and a half ... have had a lot going on in the family and was primarily concerned with the health of the child. If it drives you crazy then don't respond. Even the association of that with the name is absurd!
Hey girl, i get it. DS has the same name as a character in Twilight - we did NOT know this when we named him (I only knew the 3 main characters name). And if we have another son - his name will most likely be Jacob, not because of a stupid movie I hate but because I have loved that name since high school 20 years ago!!! I am against it only because it is so popular. Look, we even named our son's middle name after the last name of a reality star we like. Who cares? People give us funny looks but whatever.
If you name your kid Isabella, a lovely name, and someone mentions Twilight, just say "We named her that because we love the name, not because of them movie" Whatever. At least you aren't naming her Lizzard or Tire Iron or even spelling it Izzybeula or something shameful like that!

We're not harping on it, you keep asking the same questions in different formats. You made a comment about others asking about headbands or doctors...those are almost always ONE post, then they move on.

Ignoring is not hard.
And I'm not bothered by the poster, but I just find it funny that it's the same question over and over and over.
No there's no rule stating she can't post what she wants, but there's also no rule stating I can't comment how I feel.
I'm not flaming her, but trying to point out that it's been going on for awhile.
Obviously she doesn't care about our opinion or else she wouldn't keep asking the same questions.
