growth question
I've had two growth sonos so far and their weights are great. Today at 28 weeks, 3 days, the boy was 2 lb, 11 oz and the girl was 2 lb, 9 oz. Three weeks ago, he was 2 lbs and she was 1 lb, 13 oz.
When I get the pregnancy center updates and when i google, they seem to be much bigger than their singleton averages (i havent really seen averages for twins), but my sono tech keeps saying they're perfect. Obviously, I'm just thrilled they're growing so well. Anyone else have this experience?

Re: growth question
I have 3 different pregnancy apps on my phone (i'm crazy lol) and they ALL have different average weekly weights. The only thing I make sure to do is ask what percentile the babies are in terms of weights...I think it shows up on the sono techs screen. Last time we went (26 weeks 3 days) Baby A was 2 lbs and Baby B was 2 lbs 3oz and I was told that was average for a singleton baby and considered 40th percentile.

growth question
i just had my growth sono (im 25w 6d)....babies are 2.1 and 2.2 pounds. they are measuring 26 w 4d.
the sono tech said they prefer the babies to measure big now bc they will slow down towards the end.

This.
Mine were always more than baby center. As of today mine are above average for twins. The dr said it's a good thing and twins shouldn't be smaller than singletons. That's why they treat wih lovenox for clots and things that can hinder the placenta from nourishing the babies. they told me they would start to slow down now so they wouldn't get that much bigger.

Re: growth question
I had my triplets at exactly 30 weeks. My 1st DS was 3lbs 1oz, my second DS was 3lbs and my DD (who had severe IUGR) was 1lb 14oz. When I delievered they said that the boys were average/perfect for 30 weekers. In the NICU they said they were nice healthy weights. So I think your weights sound wonderful!! And as long as they keep growing. Keep up the good work momma!
