meenan oil service contract
 boooooo meenan oil
Meenan Oil sends us a bill for about $420 for service on water tank, burner, and oil tank...insanely expensive. About $200 more than last year.
I haggle down to about $240 for everything but oil tank coverage. Still pretty expensive.
Sad thing is they actually expect that some folks wont haggle and send them a check for $420. We are all working hard and may not have the time it takes to argue prices down and they are banking on that. I think that is malicious.
Please post your experiences and Oil service contract prices so we can learn from each other and have more leverage to negotiate vs companies like meenan oil that are inflating prices.

We signed w/ Petro in July...$100 contract, w/ a $100 credit (so, free) & $3.39/gal.

What a joke. If you sign u w a new company normally you get a free contract. I'd use that in your negotiations next time.

I am under contract with Meenan and my service contract is way below that.
Do you just have a service contract with them with no oil?

Just change companies every year so you are always eligible for promo pricing. That's what I am doing.
