Peds OK with delaying Vaccines
Does anyone have a ped in Suffolk who is OK with delaying vaccines such as the MMR until 3-4 years of age among other modifications?

Re: Peds OK with delaying MMR
I just vaccinated DD for MMR shortly after her 3rd birthday b/c of nursery school. My ped was fine with it. I go to Peconic Pediatrics in Riverhead.

Dr. Kurfist in Huntington. He is awesome and was fine with me delaying...and when I told him I would not be doing the one year blood work. He said ok, you will probably have to do it for kindergarten..umm ok, I can do that!

Peds OK with delaying Vaccines
I use pediatric immediate care. They are like a PM peds and then have a well area for well visits. My kids are 22 months and have not yet received their MMR. We are delaying it until 2 or 3.

Re: Peds OK with delaying Vaccines
My ped. Is AMAZING!! They have no problem delaying vaccines. Matter in fact they will go over 4 different options with you and you then can choose which better fit you. I highly recommend them. SV professionals/ pediatric. They actually are family owned so there is pediatric, obgyn, general dr and dental all in the same building! Def thumbs up!!!

Same here.
While we didn't delay our vaccines, Dr. Nataloni's office is very accomodating with working on delayed vaccination schedules.
