Ladies with Kitchen Aid Mixers!
I just ordered one from Macy's (they're having a great sale on kitchen aid mixers today and tomorrow) --- the Artisan 5 qt in Empire Red. Soo excited!
Would love to hear what attachments others have and your thoughts on the mixer.

Ladies with Kitchen Aid Mixers!
I have a regular one with no attachments, just the regular hooks and paddles. I use it for baking a lot and would be lost without it.

i got my kitchenaid 5 qt last year from kohls...the most amazing sale ever. i LOVE it and so does DH!!!
I use it for baking, so the basic beaters and stuff it comes with are perfect.
DH uses it for cooking so he has the pasta attachment which he loves. he also has the sausage kit which he hasnt used yet. our next purchase is going to be the meat grinder and the shredder - but im hearing mixed reviews on how well the shredder works

I love mine and got it at my shower 5 years ago. I use it for cooking and baking. I don't have any additional attachments besides the ones that come with it, however, I did get the glass bowl with the cover and it is a huge help to have two bowls. It is perfect when I am making my Christmas cookies and need to use another bowl quickly to make additional batches.

Ladies with Kitchen Aid Mixers!
I have the ice cream maker but haven't used it yet. I also have the slicer/shredder. I love making shredded cheese with it!

I got mine for my shower 5 year ago and I love it. I mainly use it for baking but I also have the pasta attachment. I do want to get the meat grinder as well.

LOVE mine!! we also have the ice cream maker attachment for it... it works pretty well, but we've only used it once or twice because you have to have it in the freezer for 24 hours before you use it to make the ice cream. so its not really like you just say "hey, lets make ice cream tonight" you have to plan ahead. we always forget!
but i think the mixer is awesome just by itself for baking!

I've never been a big baker but excited to use this to become one!
Pasta attachment is def something I'm looking to get. Mmm.
More than anything, just excited to look at a big sparkly kitchen aid mixer in our new kitchen.

Mine is 12 years old and still going strong. I use the regular beaters normally and use it for a ton (baking, mashed potatoes, etc!).
I do have attachment pieces that go on the front of it, like a cheese shredder, meat grinder, pasta one, etc. but I never use them! Just one of the two bowls and the dough hook, wire whisk and paddle.

i have the cheese shredder and use it atleast once a week!
I also have the ice cream maker and despite saying I would use it after I bought it I have never used it once!
