Therapy that accept straight medicaid...

Hello Everyone:
I moved recently to the long beach area and wanted to know what therapist accept speech,OT,PT and ABA scripts for straight medicaid. I have a nonverbal 7 year old autistic boy and want to enroll him in services and recreational things in long Island any help is greatly appreciated. I also want to learn sign language to help him learn how to express himself. Thank you in advance.

My son is not that old yet, but everyone advised me to go through the school district to get services. This is what we did.

After they completed their evals, we were given a list of providers that give services on Long Island.

I am not exactly sure how this all works with the Medicaid thing, but I remember filling out a form a couple of times allowing services to be billed through Medicaid. I never actually applied for Medicaid for DS.

I am sure the mothers of older children on here with that specific diagnosis will also be helpful.
