Birthday Places for large group- near Smithtown
We live in Smithtown and want to have our daughters first birthday someplace nice but affortable. I dont really want a sit down dinner restaurant.
i want to do clowns, ice cream station, candy station and buffet food. we have nearly 100 people and 30 kids.
What type of suggestions do you have? I have only been to a few VFW type places and they all looked run down and dirty.
I hope someone has a suggestion for me

My son is 7 now, but we had his first birthday party at Dave and Busters in Islandia.
We had about 80 adults and 25 children. We did 2 seperate buffets. One was a kid station with sliders, mac and cheese and chicken fingers, and the other was a mexican station for the adults.
For dessert we had an ice cream sundae bar in addition to cake.
For entertainment we had an entertainer who played the guitar and sang and danced with the kids and a puppet show. The older kids were given cards to go out into the main facility to play games.
It was a very nice party.
