5 of my students lost their homes
I want to do something to help the families. What do you think I can give them that would be helpful. A gift card? And how much would be nice? Thanks! It's so sad

Work something out with your student council for a food or clothing drive or something.

The school and community is already on it. I just wanted to do something a litte more personal to help them.

I think a gc is a nice gesture. They need everything. A new coat for the students might be good too.

5 of my students lost their homes
We have so many, too but one was really close to his black belt test and lost his uniform and everything else, so his teachers are chipping in to get him his uniform and equipment for the test. In my school, the last count I heard was 189 students are displaced, it's awful :(

I just received 5 new students from devastated areas..it is very sad..my schools gave them full supplies..so it would be one less thing for the parents to worry about. Maybe you can give them a gift certificate to a local eatery, so that they don't have to worry about dinner?
