OBGYN in Manhattan
Please recommend, if you have one, your OBGYN in Manhattan, preferably upper west side and surrounding areas. I've heard great things about the Chen/Morgan practice but have yet to actually be able to schedule an appointment with them (was told yesterday to call back next week to schedule for January - gotta love being a new patient in NYC). I may still try them but interested in other suggestions. Thanks very much!
Edited to add: prefer female and affiliated with Sinai, Columbia or Cornell if possible.

I really like my OB/GYN, however, he's on the UES and affiliated with Lenox Hill. However, if you change your mind about specifics, I can FM you his info.
I actually live on the UWS, and don't find it that difficult to get to his office - it's a quick ride through the park.

OBGYN in Manhattan
I see Dr. Stephanie Trentacoste (McNally) at NY OBGYN on East 84th. There are 4 doctors there the other female is Dr. Kassenoff. There are two male doctors at the practice as well but they only want you to meet them and when I did all they did was listen to the HB. I know you said UWS but she is affiliated with Mt. Sinai and I absolutely love her.

I have a dr in Murray Hill that delivers at NYU. It's an all-female practice, if you're interested.

Love them! Had 2 dc's with them out of Sinai and great experience both times.

I see Dr. Waterstone on 80th and 3rd. She is associated with Cornell. I am not sure if she takes new patients but I have seen other doctors in the practice and they are all great.

Maternal fetal medicine associates. Drs bender silverstein and fox are myffavorites. 90th and medicine. Love them.
Eta. They are with mt Sinai. The docs I said are men but they have 2 women as well. One is new and I haven't met her yet. The other is nice but doesn't do deliveries so I typically don't see her.

I LOVE my Dr. she is affiliated with Cornell but delivers at NY downtown so don't know if that works for you or not. Also offices are in Tribeca but if you want a rec, she is Dr. Po Ching Fong! She delivered my first and my sister's baby and my SIL's baby and I love her! Best bedside manner ever!

Trentacoste/Kurtz delivered my DD and Kassenoff my DS. Both had complications and I cant rave enough about them all.
I actually used to go to Chen/Morgan practice when Kassenoff was there. I hated the practice but loved her so I moved with her.

Check Howard Kurtz and Alan Adler as well. As long as one of them in the practice does, I think you can see them all.

Thanks very much. I confirmed that no one in the practice takes my insurance. This must be a change, because they definitely did when I checked a while back and my insurance hasn't changed.

Cornell Medical Associates
They have an east side and west side practice. Also have internal medicine and pediatrics in both as well. MY OB was at the UES office (we lived in Astoria at the time) but when my DS was born we moved to the west side and his pediatrician was in UWS office. West side office is on 72nd and CPW.
