possible attempted child abduction in suffolk county

I'm cross posting this to a few other boards too just in case:

My sister lives about 4 blocks away from me in Lindenhurst NY. Her girls were headed to the bus stop this wednesday morning. There was a younger 9 year old boy already there and a man was talking to him. When they and other kids from the neighborhood started walking toward the stop he got in his car and drove off.

They asked him who the man was and he said he didn't know. He said the man pulled up and got out of his car and was asking him questions like his name and where he lived and he offered him candy. When they got to school the kids informed the school and the police came. The man has silver hair and has some sort of mark on his face. He is driving a grey car and they thing that part of the plate was EGG.

Parents have been spreading the word on facebook to be on the look out. I thought I would post it here too because I don't think they are telling the surrounding towns or even other schools in the area. The bus stop was north of Sunrise Highway in Suffolk county Lindenhurst. Please spread the word.

Something similar happened on Mark Tree Rd. in Centereach on Tuesday of this week. Different car (blue Dodge with black stripes). And there was also an incident on Tuesday in Middle Island with a green sedan.

What is going on???

I cross posted this thread in other sections on here and someone also said there was one in Selden. I am having a sickening feeling this goes on a lot more than we ever imagined.
