fifth disease
My son was just diagnosed with fifth disease and I'm freaking out a little. I called my OB and they said I do have antibodies for it....I am 20 weeks...do you think I still should worry knowing I am immune?

I'm a teacher and it's always a huge deal with a pregnant woman is in the building during a 5th disease out break. My doctor told me that I am fine and not to worry about it as I had it when I was a child. So I clarified and said "Just to make sure, I don't have to leave if it breaks out in school?" and he said "Nope, you're fine."

I have antibodies too and my doctor told me that was a good thing because now there was no worry about me contracting it while pregnant.
