anyone have a recipe for these cookies?
I forgot what they are called but they are Christmas cookies and they are shaped like a ball..are they called Snowball cookies??
Anyone have a recipe?

These are what my Mom used to make...
Walnut Balls
Ingredients:
•1 cup butter
•1/3 cup brown sugar
•1 teaspoon vanilla
•2 cups flour, sifted
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•2 cups finely chopped walnuts
•powdered sugar
Preparation:
Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Sift flour and salt together; add to creamed mixture. Mix well; stir in walnuts. Shape dough into walnut-sized balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet with spatula. When still warm but cool enough to handle, roll in powdered sugar.
Makes about 4 dozen.
