Emily Giffin
I'm about to finish "Where we belong" and I think I've read all of her books. I loved them! What other author is similar to her? Or what books can you recommend? Thank you!

Re: Emily Giffin
Not quite the same because I think Emily Giffin is a more "serious" author, but since I love her and also read all her books, I compare my obsession with authors like Kim Gruenenfelder, & Sophie Kinsella. They are more comical "chick lit", but soooo funny and enjoyable.

Marian Keyes is similar. A more "serious" chick lit, especially her latest stuff. and she has a lot of books to get into! (also, they just have awesome titles, like sushi for beginners and watermelon)

I really love Elin Hiderbrandt....beachy novels, but a little more serious.
I couldn't get into the Shopaholic novels, the main character was just too ditzy.

I used to like these a few years back, just read the last one Mini-Shopaholic and could not get thru it. Her other books, outside this series are really good. I got your number is funny. Also, try Meg Cabot, Queen of Babble series.

Re: Emily Giffin
Check out "Everyone Worth Knowing" by Lauren Weisberger- it's kind of in the vein of Emily Giffin and The Devil Wears Prada- which is also a good read.
