I feel mean

I just went back to my office after weeks of being at home bc of Sandy. My dog has been pooping, peeing in the house and eating the poop out of the litter box. Its like he's acting out because I left him. So now he's back in his crate after a year of being free but I can't have that happening in the house. He looks so sad when he's in there but there is nothing else I can do. Feel like a bad mommy.

Sometimes they regress. You have to do it. You aren't mean. You are doing what he needs and that is giving structure again.
