I lost my Dad
Yes, he has been sick. Yes, he was recently in the hospital. Yes, he was transferred to a rehab. But yes he was getting better. The chemo was clearing up some of his tumors. I spoke with him a few hours before he passed, he was good. He wanted me to bring him a roast beef sandwich for lunch the next day. A few hours later he had a massive heart attack. I'm not understanding. I have cried my eyes out all week. We buried him yesterday. Today I'm numb. It wasn't supposed to happen. I miss him so much. He was my daddy.

Celia, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Daddy, too, in 2011, unexpectedly. I miss him terribly. The love we have for our parents, and theirs for us, never fades. Hugs!
