I don't care where , as long as they are good and in a good area, easy access , parking, we go to someone in Asoria now and parking is a big pain...

My in-laws have gone to Dilello for years. They love her. Parking is great around her office. I go to Dr. Mienko in Ridgewood and I've been very happy.

Could be the same ped - dr. Paul with glendale pediatrics. Parking is just ok...not great. We walk so it's not as big of a concern.

dr . Dilello and Dr. Haskoor were both highly recommended by dr.Yu who doesn't take new patients currently.
Is dr. H askoor a male or female? How is the office , do they have a good size sick/well rooms? Is it a solo practice , do you always see the same dr? How is the wait time and how easy is it to get an appt?
Main reason I will be switching is because my ped's office is tiny , kids get sick every time we go, plus parking is horrible.

I just called them and they have no sick room at all Chat Icon she said sick kids and healthy kids are in the same waiting room, so that's a huge problem for me. Oh well, I guess he is off the list .

Not sure where you currently go, but I take DS to Astoria Pediatrics. They have a location in Bayside also, and parking is obviously better there than at their Astoria location. I see Dr. Mike Iordanou.

Last time I was there they let us wait I n the lab when a sick kid came into the waiting room.
He has another woman working there when hes not in but I haven't seen her yet. You can get a sick appt within a few hours and the wait hasnt been too bad but we haven't been able to get there before our appt time yet (its hard to move fast with newborn twins lol)

We used to see Dr. Dilello. We never called her Dr. Dilello but Dr. Pam. Her father was my DH's pediatrician. She knows my family well. My oldest DS went to her for 3 years. I only stopped seeing her due to moving out of state. My review is based on info from 5 years ago. Things might haven changed since St. John's Hopsital closed. Dr. Pam was the chief ped there. She is a great doc but the practice has some flaws. She was always overbooked. You will definitely wait. However she takes her time with every appt so you will never feel rushed. The office was old and equipment not the most modern. I believe there is a thread from years ago with some other reviews of her. HTH.

I live in Queens. Most of my friends take their kids to Children's Medical Group in Bayside on Corporal Kennedy. There is no sick/ well room and it is street parking,

I take my kids to Kiz Kare. It's on Northern Blvd in Great Neck so it's not too far. They have a sick and a well area as well as in house lab room so when they need bloodworm we just get it taken right there rather than having to make a separate appt with a lab. They are in an office building so there is a parking lot.

Thanks ladies.
I think Dilello is out too, her hours are weird and she doesn't have weekend hours, lots of times weekend well visits work best for us, so I'd like to have that option, it's not a deal breaker or a must, but preferable. I also keep reading that the office is not so nice/clean and they ahve old equipment , so I don't know. i might have to go and take a look at the office & interview her.

Anyone else have recommendations?
I would prefer a solo practice .

Thanks again

We go here and are happy so far. There is always parking in front as it is residential and I like having it DS's doctors close.

My friend goes to her and is really happy with her. I also hear Dr. Yu is good too in Middle Village. However, a previous poster wrote that he isn't taking any new clients at the moment.
