anyone having this problem on pinterest?

I only follow about 25 people on pinterest and today, I am getting all these pins from people I do not follow.

I wouldn't mind if it was things I liked but these pins are nothing that I even remotely follow or have any interest in,

I deleted all the people I followed and refollowed them. changed my password. Logged off, logged in and I still am getting pinners i don't follow.

Has anyone else have this happen?

The only thing I can think of is did you happen to join a group board? It's a relatively new feature and I got a few requests for them. I thought it sounded cool, but there were hundreds and hundreds of pins from people I didn't know, though at least they were relevant to the group (it was a group for recipes). Otherwise, no issues here.

no but what is happening for the past 2 days is every time I log onto the site. My computer is unable to load any other web pages. I wonder if all the images are clogging my computer.

yes, it's on my account too. i read into it a little, and it seems under their t&c's, they provide you with people to follow automatically. i've tried a few things too, even making a whole new account, and STILL these random people are there. it's super annoying, and i kinda got frustrated & stopped using it for a while.

the only way i've learned to only see the pins of the people i chose to follow, is to go directly to their profile & see their pins that way.

not liking it the way i did before. and i never saw it look like that until recently.

You can unfollow those people you don't want. They don't make intuitive, but what you do is you go to the list of people you are following, find the ones you don't want and then click on the greyed out box (that doesn't look like anything clickable) and it should change to unfollow.
