on your invitation, did you use the word Baptism or Christening? why did you chose one over the other? thanks!

I used Baptism, because that is the sacrament being received. Christening is the naming part of the ceremony.

on the invitation it said "baptism" and on our favor tags it said "christening". i didn't know the difference between the two though (until reading this thread!)

Baptism is the sacrament of being initiated into the church. Christening is more of being given an official name. I used Baptism because it is what the sacrament is called.
