We have the froggy potty we got at Target. Honestly it's the best one. The less parts the better and it's the cheapest too.

Re: Recommend your Potty Chair
I wouldn't even get a Potty Chair. I would get a seat that goes on your regular toilet. Then you won't have to re-train to use toilet. Or clean the icky mess!

I would LOVE to do this but our toilets are really high up and elongated (DH HAD to have ) so I dont think it will work for him while hes still little. Im not even sure they make the seats to fit the elongated toilets. I could be wrong though.

I have an elongated (oval) toilet and I just bought a potty seat and it fits. I also bought a step stool so she could get on the toilet with help from me.
ETA: I bought this seat and step stool

so this was my plan but it didnt work ... i had gotten a travel potty to plan on using when we were out i ended up setting it up on the second day of our 3 day potty traning and she used it when she wouldnt even sit on the regular one.
We are on our 3rd week of fully potty trained (during the day) and at daycare they have little toliets and regular ones with the seat that goes on it and she will use either one. I went to a party at a friends and she had the one that went on the regular toliet and she used it with no problem. SO basically if she sees "her" potty she will choose that over the regular one but if its not there she will use the regular one. So no need to retrain
Back to the OP heres what i ended up using the thought of having to clean one out skeeved me out, plus as stated as above it was meant for a traveling while were out anyway
this one uses ziplock bags so you can buy really cheap ones to use:

Froggy Potty
This, he barely pees and it is hard to see if he goes when he's on the big toilet.
