Any CIO Success Stories for Nap Time?
DD is 9 months old....used to go down for naps like a dream, now that she can sit up, crawl, and pull herself up...not so much. I still follow her signs, so I don't have her on a time schedule...
When it's time, I rock her in her chair for a few mins, she sucks her thumb and closes her eyes....nearly asleep, I put her down and she pops right back up.
She's on 2 naps a day now, morning and afternoon, but if I don't put her down asleep, she won't have it.
Now I'm letting her CIO...20 mins so far...and I might have to cave in...so sad to listen to!
Any success stories/tips would be helpful...TIA!

Any CIO Success Stories for Nap Time?
No help but I'm in a similar boat! DD is 9.5 months and going to sleep is not what it used to be. Lately she wants to nurse to sleep for naps and won't let me put her down. I used to put her in the crib and out she went, but now she cries and cries. If I go in to soothe her it just gets worse. Even at bedtime she falls asleep nursing a lot which she never used to do. I'm trying pushing off her nap today to see what happens.
When she dropped from 3 to 2 naps she still showed tired cues at the two hour mark but wouldn't fall asleep so it took me a few days to realize she was ready to stay up another hour. Just nursed her a bit when she got crabby but didn't let her fall asleep and now I'm trying to wear her out. I'm hoping she'll go down for a nap soon!

OMG, I wish I did!! I'm listening to DD scream in her crib right now DH let's her fall asleep on him during the week and then puts her down, then I have to retrain her every weekend.

Re: Any CIO Success Stories for Nap Time?
I did it with my first. It took longer than for night time. Night time took about 3 days, but naps took more like 7-10 days! It was torture, but worth it

I just gave up after listening to DD cry for 20 minutes. She's now up and playing. Glad you posted this because I'd like some advice as well.
