Requesting a Sperm Analysis

Hi ladies!

I am not new to LIF; however, I am not an active poster on the TTC board. I really try hard not to obsess about TTC like I did with my first DS but its just so hard not to.

DH and I have been TTC #2 since July 2012 (so on my 8th cycle). Im a little concerned at this point that there may be an issue of some sort. Ive pulled out all the stops (short of tempting) and when that wasn't working I tried the "quit trying so hard" technique...and nothing....

I think at this point its time to have his boys checked.

Whats the first step?
Who do you call? Is it a urologist?
Do you just call and say "Hi! Id like to get my swimmers checked out?"

I called our PCP and he gave us a script.

DH made an appointment at an Urologist
We knew the results right away and we took them w us to the RE

I just called a Urologist yesterday, that my SIL used, and was able to get DH an appointment this coming Monday. They also said he can bring in a sample at that time, just no intercourse 2-5 days in advance.
