I am looking to join, and think I am going to try the 30 day pass.
Anyone a member? I will be going to the Commack one, but would love to hear about others in the area.

I'm a NYSC member and I love it. I live in Westchester though so I can't comment on your specific gym. But here's my advice, if you like classes get the membership that allows you to go to other gyms. I find that I flip flop between two NYSC and I have another one on my occasional rotation just based on the classes I like and them being offered at times that work for my schedule.

My cousin leads a kick ass spin class at Commack. She's an elite runner and only runs 1-2 times a week and spins the rest. Her name is Erin

I used to go to Deer Park and Smithtown and liked both. I'm sure that Commack is just as good.
If you do decide to join, sign up on the last day of the month. They have to make their sales goal and will be more likely to give you the best deal possible.

I am not a member, but, my son takes swim at the Deer Park one (at the outlets).
It's beautiful! We are there on Friday late afternoons and it's very quiet. Always machines available. Very clean and the pool is very nice as well.
