Velcro dog?
Velcro dog :n. A dog that always sticks close to its owner, especially by following the person from room to room.
I never heard of this until yesterday. lol. I have 2 velcro dogs. One is worse than the other. The little one follows me every where. She follows so close to me that her little nose hits the back of my leg as I walk. If I'm not home she follows my DH all over.
So do you have a velcro dog?

Yes I do!!!! She could be in a dead sleep .. if I get up for one second she jumps up like a crazy nut just to follow me in the other room then back to the same room she was just sleeping so peacfully in.. It makes me nuts!!! The shower.. I cant close the door.. I cant close the door to the potty either .. She scratches and scratches till I let her in..

we are dog-sitting dh's cousin dog and she is a velcro dog. every where i walk she walks.
My dog, is like a cat. It's on her terms. I wish she was little more like velcro.

Velcro dog?
I have a Velcro dog. A big 70 pound boxer velcro dog.He is so close that i am constantly tripping over him. I love him, but he is going to kill me one day when i trip!
I take one step forward, he takes one step forward. I take one step back, he takes one step back.
DH jokes around that the dog is attached to me, physically attached.

Velcro dog?
Only when he sees us take out our duffle bags or suitcases then you can't get rid of him lol. It's cute though and it makes me sad bc he knows that we're leaving him obviously.

Ditto!! I was just showering and my shih tzu was standing outside shower stall when I turned around, he pushed the door open on his own...

I have a Brussels griffon and they are known as Velcro dogs, they love their people!

I have a velcro cat.
She has the uncanny ability to wake from a dead sleep and realize that I'm in the bathroom. With the door closed, which now has to be opened because she's scratching at it.

Most of the time. If he's really tired he'll stay put even if I get up but 95% of the time he follows me everywhere, more so than DH. He follows me to the bathroom and either waits outside the door or comes right in, sits on the bathmat and watches me If he thinks I'm even contemplating taking him out for a walk OR going out without him forget it, I'm tripping over 30 lbs of dog everywhere I go. Not to mention he can't sit next to me on the sofa, he needs to be ON me and physically touching me.
I love him

I have a velcro cat! He tends to follow me everywhere....bathroom, bedroom, kitchen. He even sits on my desk sometimes when I'm working at home!

That's too funny because my friends kid just stated walking and she said, "I guess I won't be using the bathroom alone for the next 5 years!"
