Cramping after Day 5 Transfer
So its been a while since I have been around here, but things have certainly progressed. After struggling for almost 5-years with premature ovarian failure, my DH and I finally selected a donor.
This is my first IVF cycle, as I have only been able to try IUIs in the past. Egg Retrieval was last Wed (2/27) and yielded a good amount of eggs. Went for a day 5 transfer yesterday. We transferred 2 blasts that were already beginning to hatch. All of the embryos were graded AA, most of which had already become blasts before freezing.
After the transfer I had some abdominal bloating for the remainder of the day. Been fine all day today, then about 2 hours ago, I began having some slight cramping/twinging. Is this normal? I am only 1dp5dt. I dont want to assume anything negative or positive at this point and was hoping someone could offer some advice.
TIA!!

Re: Cramping after Day 5 Transfer
Yes that is totally normal. Are you taking progesterone also? Progesterone causes cramping as well. Good luck to you!!!!!

WHEW! Thats a relief to hear. Yes, I am on Endometrin 3x daily. Like I said, I dont want to read into anything but I am so excited after our long struggle to finally have a real opportunity. Thank you for you input, its greatly appreciated.
