Day 3 or Day 5 transfer... im sure its been discussed
Is the decision up to you? How do you decide?

My RE likes to do day 5 but it really depends on how many embryos you get. If there are a lot then I know RE like to wait and see how many make it to day 5. If you only have like 3 embryos they usually don't want to take that chance of waiting and will do a day 3 transfer.
My RE wanted to do day 5 for me since I had 11 embryos but for my next cycle we are doing day 3. You do have the choice if you really felt strongly about doing one over the other but I would go with the recommendation of your RE

It totally depends on the number of embryos. My RE likes waiting to day 5 when there are a lot - but this is only to see which embryos are the best quality, to give you the best chance. He told me that putting back a particular embryo on day 3 or 5 wouldn't increase my chances. It just gives them a better idea what they are working with.
Your RE will most likely tell you what is best
