The issue I have with cereal is I tend to eat it fast (so it doesn't get mushy) and then I eat too much of it (like 3 bowls ) and feel sick for hours afterward.
I have totally done this with Corn Pops.

Re: Breakfast Cereal
I love cereal and can have it for dinner as well. I normally do when my husband is away on business. I have about 4 different types in my pantry right now. I go through different fav types. Currently, my fav is Golden Grahams. My husband loves Cheerios, so I always have Cheerios in my house.

Re: Breakfast Cereal
We don't keep too much cereal in the house. Right now we have Full Circle Honey Toasted Oats (organic version of Honey Nut Cheerios) and Cascadian Fruitful O's (organic version of Fruit Loops) for the kids when they want a snack. I'll occasionally have a bowl if I get home late and am too lazy to heat up dinner.
DH and the kids prefer waffles and banana pancakes over cereal for breakfast. I usually have plain oats mixed with fresh fruit in the morning. Every weekend, I end up making a big batch of waffles or pancakes and stick them in the freezer for all of them to eat.

I feel like a freak when I tell people how much I love Quaker Oh's because they'e usually never had it!
And yes, Cap'n Crunch needs to be consumed in smaller quantities - it's painful stuff

Breakfast Cereal
I had a huge bowl of LIFE cereal for dinner tonight. Not sure why but it's all I thought about all day.
I also love Frosted Mini Wheats.

Breakfast Cereal
i am not a big fan of cereal but we always have trader joes o's that i jazz up with honey and cinnamon or kashi blueberry flakes. ive been trying to eliminate the kashi b.c ive been hearing some negative reports. otherwise, we generally eat anyone one of the following: pb&j, homemade french toast, oatmeal, eggs, or homemade pancakes leftover from the weekend.

Breakfast Cereal
I love cereal!! I really don't discriminate with any of it either...there really isn't any particular one I don't like. I switch it up with every grocery trip. I do have a thing for frosted mini-wheats and cracklin oat bran :) Captain Crunch is also a top favorite, but I try my hardest to not bring it into the house. I snack on it all day long until I've eaten the entire box.
I do make myself stick to a 1-2 box limit to have in the house and not buying another until they are both done. Otherwise, I eat too much of it.

We only have one- natures path cornflakes. I stopped eating cereal, and I give it to my kids once in a blue moon. Cereals don't offer much nutrition, even the so-called healthy ones. They are so heavily processed that they have to be fortified with synthetic vitamins.
What do your kids have for breakfast?
I make pancakes with coconut flour, oatmeal with bananas, coconut oil, flaxseed and cinnamon, eggs various ways, coconut flour banana muffins, fruit, homemade potato latkes and organic sausage or bacon.
I need to start doing this!

Re: Breakfast Cereal
We have cascadian farm o's for DD to snack on. Me and DH rarely eat cereal but we like Bare Naked maple nut something flakes when we do. I actually only eat it dry as a snack, if at all.
DH's problem is that he will eat about a half of a box in one sitting and use a half of a container of milk! So we try not to keep it in the house, lol. We'd go broke.
