When does nesting start typically?
Wondering if I'm just stressed b/c I keep ending up on bed rest and can't do anything or if nesting has started already lol... I keep looking around my house at all the stuff that should be getting done but isn't b/c I'm not allowed to. I know we have time but when I saw the Ob and he cut it from 40 down to 34-36 all of the sudden late June to mid-July seems like its just around the corner and I'm finding myself over halfway there (thankfully lol)!

Re: When does nesting start typically?
I think it's a very normal desire to get things done while dealing with the frustration of not being able to. I remeber when I was on bed rest all of a sudden it seemed like a great time to do laundry-- too bad I couldn't
You can give it a name and call it nesting if you want, but I think it's just a very normal desire to want to get things done when you can't.

I have to agree with PennyCat.
I wasn't on bedrest but I was SO sick in the first trimester and well into the second and couldn't get off my couch. I just kept thinking "I wish I could do....(insert anything around the apt you could imagine)". When I got better I started to do things but just haven't found that kind of motivation. It was sad when I couldn't do it though. To help me I sat and made a list. It made me feel like I was organized and I did something. I made a list of EVERYTHING!!!! I made a list of my to dos, a list of what I want to get rid of, made a list for DH, made a list of what I wanted to register for, I made a list for EVERYTHING!!! It was my way of feeling like I was doing something and not just sitting staring at the apt wishing it would do everything itself.
