i haven't read the book, but isn't it all about raunchy sex? I mean, how is it going to translate to a movie anyway if it is not pornographic? Won't they have to super edit it? I feel like that would just ruin it although I have no idea what the book is like. It just seems like they just want to make money on a movie, and it will be a huge blockbuster, but it probably won't be like the book at all. am i correct?

I actually think this is a pretty good pick. SHe is not a cheesy actress and therefore will make the movie less cheesy I hope.

I think she could def pull that character off without a hitch, and that's dropping her good girl image right where she wants it. And I always pictured either Alexis Bedel (Sp?) or Mila Kunis.

Someone (can't remember who) posted a long time ago that the book should really be a series on HBO or Showtime, which I thought was a much better idea than a film. I can't see any actress or actor agreeing to play these roles - I just don't see how the film will be any good. The books were so light on story and heavy on . . . well, other stuff. They have to bring in a really really good writer if they want this to be a good film.

Ian Somerhalder is shamelessly petitioning to play this role, he wants it soooo bad. I think he's too pretty to be CG, IMO.

I honestly picture Jacqueline MacInnes Wood...she plays "Steffy" on the Bold and the Beautiful. Not sure why but when I read 50 Shades...this is who I see as Ana.
I tell you, google this girl. She is gorgeous.
