Sore Throat

Can anyone share a good med or remedy to help relieve a sore throat until I can get to a dr later. I am going on day 3 and I swear in my whole life I have never had a sore throat for more than a day. I caught my DD cold and this throat thing is just killing me.

So far I've taken straight honey, gargled with salt and warm water, drinking tea with honey and been taking Advil (which works but not long enough).

I may be too late but taking teaspoons of apple cider or white vinegar. It works everytime.
