Pet urn
I know this is morbid, but we have made the appointment to put our dog to seep next week. My heart absolutely breaking, but I know it's the right thing. We plan on having her euthanasia done at our home and we will be doing a private cremation. I am researching urns and found photo ones and I love that idea. I am torn between two different kinds. One looks like a regular picture frame but the box for her ashes is behind the photo. There would be a small plaque with her name on the bottom. The other is a photo box. It has the option of five photos, though I would make one photo area a larger plaque with her name and a poem. Part of me feels one nice picture would be a perfect memorial. But I also kind of like the idea of the five spots- one for the plaque, one for her, one of her and me and my DH, and then one of her with each of my DS. But I worry that may be too much, or too much of a shrine. I know this probably sounds trivial, but for some reason it's really important for me to pick the right one.

I would go with the single photo for the urn
